the ZF's in those things weren't the most solid tranny, so could have been auto with a beat box!

They didn't sell these with Manuél inside in the US sadly. Still might be possible though!

I would say, I know the 540 went to a 5HP30 and that thing was unbreakable. You could fill it with sand and it would probably still shift

lol probably. Volvo used the same one mine had in the early 960's. We get a could in here that are well over 300K with the same trans

I have 189001 on my 5hp30, still shifts strong and rarely complains. Have to change the fluid soon though.

I had 268 on my 960 when I sold it, ran better than most new cars. LOVED the 3.0 . Didn't look too bad either for the miles
